Honoring the Life of Trooper Kyle McAcy - EOW 02.17.25

On February 17, we tragically lost Trooper Kyle McAcy #302 in a traffic accident on I-80. At just 31 years old, Kyle was a dedicated ten-year veteran of the Nebraska State Patrol, serving in various capacities including the Patrol Division, Carrier Enforcement, and as a Crisis Negotiator. He proudly wore badge #302 and was stationed in Omaha. In this difficult time, we rally together to support Kyle's family. All funds raised will be directly given to them to help with the challenges ahead. Let's honor his legacy by standing with those he loved.

The State Troopers Association of Nebraska was formally formed in 1985, after troopers across the state recognized the need for a representative organization of the state patrol officers. From its first days until the present time, S.T.A.N. has provided a unified voice for Nebraska’s troopers regarding public safety issues, professional law enforcement concerns and legislative initiatives.
